Monica Bertucci has a Masters in Business Administration from Eastern Washington University and an undergraduate degree from The Evergreen State College. Since 1997 she has been a small business owner, a store manager for a national retailer, an executive director of a nonprofit, and a bookkeeper. Her broad experience in business and nonprofits is the foundation for her desire to assist others in achieving their goals and finding success in their work. She enjoys working with each client to customize their bookkeeping to provide the most accurate and most useful information. Dana Oxford graduated from the University of Washington in 1988 with BA in Business in Administration. Since she ended up being the bookkeeper at every job, she decided to run with it! Scharffen Berger Chocolate Maker and Thomas Hammer Coffee were early employers where she gained a strong background in manufacturing and retail businesses. She likes to streamline processes and provide clear financial reporting. Sitting down with clients to help them gain an understanding of their businesses makes it all worth while!

This type of accounting is regulated by the Internal Revenue Code, which outlines specific tax laws that your accountant will ensure you follow. Your Certified Public Accountant will work with you to file your federal business taxes.

We use QuickBooks Accountant Desktop, which we back up and secure with password protection. We do not use QuickBooks Online.

We will file your state and federal payroll taxes, and local and state excise and sales taxes. Your CPA should do all other tax filings.

Absolutely. Communication is important. As part of your business team, we will work collaboratively with you and your approved advisors and representatives to ensure the smooth transfer of information.

We charge $70/hour, billed in 15-minute increments. We bill annually for payroll subscriptions and required payroll forms per employee. We will send you an invoice by the 5th of each month summarizing what we have done, the number of hours we’ve worked, and the total amount due for services. We always work as efficiently as possible.
